The Perfect Connection Between Kitchen and Living Room
During the first phase of this project, the transformation of the space involved creating an open-plan layout, with a complete renovation of the kitchen. To complement this renovation and strengthen the connection between the environments, the client decided to proceed with the second phase, which involved developing a piece of furniture to decorate the living room. This element was carefully designed to ensure visual and functional continuity between the two spaces, creating both aesthetic and practical harmony.
Interior Design and Construction Project
To ensure continuity, we used the same RAL color as the kitchen and maintained the use of the slatted panel, which adds a touch of sophistication and elegance. This piece of furniture was designed to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, meeting the client’s needs.
The niches were carefully designed to store the client’s cherished memories, such as books, photographs, and family heirlooms, giving the space personality and history. We also considered entertainment, with dedicated compartments for the television, consoles, and other multimedia equipment.
Additionally, part of the furniture was designed with closed doors, offering a practical and discreet storage solution—ideal for keeping everyday items organized while maintaining a clean and minimalist space.
This piece of furniture is not only functional but also serves as a visual link between the kitchen and living room, reinforcing the aesthetic unity of the overall design. Its presence transforms the open space into a cohesive, elegant, and welcoming environment.
