Clear, simple, reducing lines. The feeling of tranquillity and harmony that minimalism provokes in a space is unparalleled and has made this apartment in Leça da Palmeira the ideal refuge to live in. With materials suited to the client's needs, at low cost and a lot of creativity in the mix, an old 3 rooms apartment was transformed into an open space with good finishes, modern and welcoming.
Interior design for apartment rehabilitation - Works
The interiors of this apartment were designed to provide good times in a space with personality. From the colour of the walls to the lighting of the space, every detail counts.
Throughout the house, we bet on a warm sand tone on the walls and white furniture, for a greater sense of comfort and clarity, using the brown glaze in the bathrooms. For a different and refined touch, vintage tiles in monochromatic tones were used on the kitchen wall and on the bathroom floor, as well as a white brick wall.
As an apartment with a lot of natural light coming in from one side, we chose to implement fixed spotlights on the ceiling to balance the light in all corners and a set of adjustable spotlights directed towards the kitchen area. The floating wooden floor in light tones completed the warm and modern environment.
The motto "less is more" was the premise for this interior design project.
