Felisberto Centenary House
With over 100 years of history, Felisberto Centenary House combines in its pieces the best of two worlds: the traditional and the modern. Founded in 1880, the store has always sought to bring more modern and sophisticated materials to the traditional trade, specializing in the design and production of marble and granite for all types of applications and services. As a workshop with reduced width, the optimization of the window and it's interior to capture the attention of passersby for the artisanal manufacture of the pieces became imperative.
Interior design and works
This shop-atelier in the centre of Porto does not have an entrance door, so at night only a grille is closed in front, allowing you to "see and touch" its interior. For this reason, it was necessary to adapt the furniture at the entrance to materials that are highly resistant to climate change, having opted for display furniture in marine plywood and glass doors.
Regarding painting and decoration, dark blue was used in the ceiling and furniture, alluding to the blue sky, and saints made by artisans. As an atelier limited in width, the reorganization of space, parts and materials was also important to facilitate the passage and provide a pleasant experience for customers.
