Interior Design for Language School
When faced with the challenge of renovating a space previously occupied by a real estate agency, with its distinctive décor and welcoming atmosphere, to accommodate a language school aimed at a business audience, the interior design project adopted an approach that maintained the warmth and inviting character of the place, while introducing new functionalities and an aesthetic in line with the school's educational mission. The goal was to create an environment that promoted well-being and comfort, incorporating modern elements and a visual and functional connection with the school's activity. Thus, each area was thought out individually, with the aim of providing a unique and engaging experience for all those who attend.
The inclusion of a bookshop at the heart of the space presents a unique atmosphere, bathed only in indirect light, creating a welcoming environment conducive to concentration and literary immersion. The walls, carefully lined with grey wallpaper, evoke the texture of exposed concrete, giving the space a contemporary and sophisticated feel that contrasts harmoniously with the richness and color of the books. Completing the design, the elegant black iron shelves organize and display the diversity of titles available. This arrangement not only maximizes the use of space, but also adds an element of industrial design to the room. This space was designed to be a refuge within the school, where students and teachers can explore the world through the pages of books, in an environment that invites discovery and autonomous learning.
The creation of a lounge area with a musical touch, through a piece of furniture that incorporates a record player, and the wall of memories that tells the story of the company through frames with objects and photographs, are testimony to the fusion between the past and the present, between learning and relaxation. This project is a celebration of language, culture and community, reflecting a space where every detail has been carefully planned to encourage exploration, learning and well-being.
