Celeirós Veterinary Clinic
With the growing relevance of pets in our lives, it becomes increasingly important to improve the quality and plurality of services in the Medical-Veterinary Care Centres (CAMV). After 20 years of existence, the Celeirós Veterinary Clinic adapted its facilities to the current context, with the opening of a new space prepared to receive users with greater comfort and personalized service. A house was transformed into a space for animal health services, having strategically worked on the interiors, in order to design functional and efficient areas that favour the well-being of the animal and its guardian.
Interior design
The CAMVs have very specific and different needs, so each area of the clinic has been carefully planned to meet the needs of the purpose for which it is intended.
Two distinct areas of the waiting room were designed, one for dogs and one for cats, with independent paths to the veterinary offices, which are also separate. Frosted glass structures were used in the offices to allow natural light to enter and, at the same time, preserve the privacy of users and guardians.
Regarding areas such as the operating room, pathology laboratories, X-ray rooms and bathing and shearing rooms, a vinyl floor was chosen, a floor very resistant to scratches and stains, only 3mm thick, and baseboards in cove. In this way, the accumulation of bacteria is reduced and the cleaning and disinfection of spaces are facilitated.
