Picôto Veterinary Clinic

Modern, functional and inviting. These were the premises for the refurbishment of the reception area at Picôto veterinary clinic, in Santa Maria da Feira. After 12 years of excellence in animal health and having already been expanded and renovated, this veterinary clinic felt the need to redesign the space that welcomes its clients, to not only make it more attractive and captivating, but also more organized. Being welcomed into this Veterinary Medical Care Centre (CAMV) is now an even more pleasant and quality experience, which goes hand in hand with the distinctive personalized service provided to clients and guardians.

Interior remodeling project

The space at Picôto veterinary clinic has been reorganized and a new reception area designed based on a new brand image, which includes a new front desk and LED lighting. In addition, new decorative elements have been added to the space, using materials such as wood to emphasize sobriety and comfort, adding value to the identity.

The reception area has been refurbished to meet the needs of organization and functionality for both users and tutors, which is increasingly important for those who use the service. Two separate waiting areas were created, one for cats and one for dogs, each decorated to promote comfort and interaction between the client and the pet. Thus, the shelf for placing the cat carrier becomes a functional decorative element that brings the owner closer to their pet.

Due to the small reception area and the need for more seating, benches were created that can be used as additional seating during the clinic's busiest times and which can be easily stowed away at the bottom, making the space adaptable according to current needs.

In the area inside the counter, a built-in cabinet was created with doors up to the ceiling and a decorative slatted element for storage, which is useful for all the staff and services provided by the Picôto Veterinary Clinic.

The existing lighting in the space was maintained and two new lamps were added to the top of the service counter as decorative elements, providing more light and highlighting the new layout of the counter and service area. A new piece of furniture with glass doors and interior lighting was also created between the reception desk and the access door to the consulting rooms to display pet products, drawing the customer's eye to this area.

Careful planning and design of the new elements was essential to achieve a harmonious and balanced solution with the existing elements, appropriate to the current context and strategically designed to ensure not only comfort and efficiency in the provision of services, but also optimization of the entire space.
